Good, but...

I've only had the fridge for a few days; still setting up foodstuffs. Seems to be working fine. Filter definitely working well as my tea is tasting good for the first time since moving into my new home. The "but" part is that GE does not include a dairy bin so no convenient place to put butter dish. That's too bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We added the extra ice maker in the freezer drawer and are very happy with ice production rate and the space needed. Very large fridge space and great configuration possibilities if shelves! Don't like that water dispenser drips but " drip package" to be installed soon.

I always thought that a fridge was just a fridge and didn't matter as long as it kept things cold until we got this one. The space is massive compared to our last fridge.

Ok, but shortcomings have me disappointed

I purchased this refrigerator coming from a Side by Side refrigerator w/ a front ice and water dispenser. I thought the French Door style would provide more useable space. It did. However, the quantity of ice from this unit is very minimal. I am also disappointed in the way the unit dispenses ice. It routinely doesn't dispense all available ice without having to open the door and shaking the dispenser. When placing cubed ice into a pitcher from the door dispenser, I need to place my hands around the top of the pitcher so ice cubes don't fly onto the floor. The water dispenser also drips after each use onto the dispenser's tray which is painted and a flat surface. I am sure the silver paint on this surface will wear off from all the wiping. I wish the tray was metal with a grate to catch the water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
