Great fridge

We bought this fridge a few months ago and it has exceeded our expectations. We opted for the second ice maker and love the amount of ice it produces overall!

Good refrigerator!

For the most part, this is a good refrigerator. There are a few little things to be aware of. For example, the ice "bucket" needs to be emptied every once in a while because the wet ice will melt together, and not come out the shoot. Also, the door to get in to the ice "bucket" sticks because it's frozen to itself. Plus, we have gotten used to it, but it seems to run a little louder than you think it should. We did like the layout. You can customize it to suit your needs. Overall, we are very happy.

I love this frig. It is big and roomy and the freezer has pull out trays for ease of access. Love the icemaker in the door too.

Missing Some Features

I was disappointed when I realized that this refrigerator does not have a storage bin for eggs or a compartment for butter. It also does not have an extra storage bin for ice. My last refrigerator (not a G.E.) did not have a bin for eggs but the one before it did, so I kept the egg bin. This refrigerator does not have an extra storage bin for ice and the ice maker storage is small. I like to make extra ice for a party so I took the ice bin from my old refrigerator and I am using it. In addition my last refrigerator had a small shelf inside the freezer compartment. It was nice to have so that small items were easy to find in the freezer drawer. Why is it that the price keeps going up but we are getting less for our money?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
