Works well but....

I like it overall. Looks good, works well but it is a bit noisy. Not really loud but noticeable.

Nice Fridge

I only have had this operational for 2 days, but seems to be working great. I only have two negative things to say.
1) The adhesive protective sheets that are all over this fridge are tucked underneath the door trim and make it very difficult to remove without leaving a ragged edge of film showing. The instructions say 30 minutes to install...I spent way longer than that just getting the adhesive covering off and out of from behind the door trim.

2) There is no "Dairy Tray" included with this model. I couldn't find one on line as an accessory. I will be calling GE tomorrow to see if one is available.
All in all, pretty nice fridge except for those two minor annoyances.

Control panel issues

The control panel to select water, ice, etc is poorly lit. A very small bar is located OVER the item you want. The light should be BEHIND the word,i.e. ICE, so that it can be seen without turning on the lights in the room.

unit lasted 1 week . opened freezer, everything defrosted incluing $90 filet. dealer responded by sending new unit 4 hours later. Bought same unit 3 years ago. less money more features. now 2nd icemaker optional. Would not recommend

I have one GE refrigerator. Needed more room so kept both refrigerators and got rid of chest freezer. Love the size and capacity

Constantly Noisy

Refrigerator is always running and the fans are a lot louder than the LG we were used to. Also have some condensation issues on bottles almost constantly.
It's an ok appliance but it's way too noisy. If we could swap it out with the builder, we would.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I haven't had this fridge long, but it is so beautiful and roomy! I love it! It fit all my stuff for Xmas meal, leftovers. I read all the reviews on it, true the top ice maker is tiny compared to what I had before but other than that I have no regrets. I will be ordering the bottom freezer ice maker kit, it was backordered so decided to wait on that.

This has all but a few of the more extreme features of Profile and looks perfectly well matched for much less. Much less. Beautiful appliance.
