“Never Dry”

Our New House came with all Frigidaire Professional appliances. We like the microwave. To wit, the dishwasher was a big disappointment. It comes with an upper tray for utensils which seems redundant since there is already a utensil caddy on bottom rack. It just takes up headroom but fortunately is removable. We don’t even know what the “even dry” feature is because we have to constantly dry the bottoms of coffee mugs, bowls, plastic baby dishes, etc. There is no selectable button for any drying option. Having to towel dry dishes is our biggest and greatest complaint. Would easily live with the other lesser issues. Also, feels flimsy and bottom rack often has to be lifted and realigned to slide back into dishwasher cavity. Builder has had a lot of complaints after having to change appliance manufacturer because of COVID related supply chain issues.

Regarding the dishwasher not drying the dishes, make sure that air dry is not being selected, this will result in wet dishes. For optimum drying performance, using a rinse aid has proven to be helpful. Also, try using the Hi-Temp Wash option on the model. During the hi-temp wash option, the dishwasher heats water in the main wash to approximately 140F (60C) and increases the temperature higher in the final rinse. The increased water temperature helps the dishwasher detergent removes food grease and soil from dishes more effectively and aids in drying. Hopefully, this helps. EvenDry System is a Joke!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a replacement for my 26 year old whirlpool washer and I wished I had the old whirlpool back! Dishes are wet at the end of the drying cycle.

Green: Great room inside for MORE everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago. It has great room inside to keep your dishes, which means I am running dishwasher every other day. With other dishwashers I used to run once a day. This gives me more water saving and more electricity saving (Making me more greener :)).

In very first use its pressure sensor blown off but it was my plumber's fault as he didn't open the drain pipe hole with crusher and connected it without it. Fridgidaire service was prompt in arranging the part even though its a very new model and usually its difficult to get parts of new models.
