Super Quiet / Super Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dishwasher a few months ago as part of full kitchen renovation. Very, very happy with our purchase. We have an open plan home so our old dishwasher could be heard in adjacent rooms--not super loud, but enough to be noticed.
This Frigidaire unit is so quiet that we can barely tell it's running even when standing in front of it. The dish and flatware placement options are great, and everything comes out perfectly clean. I would recommend this to anyone.

Mediocre at best... so disappointed

We've had our dishwasher for a few months. This is far from "professional" anything. It looks nice coming out of the box. That's where my satisfaction ends. The outside facade is so flimsy. You barely touch it and it leaves a dent- we have two so far and we haven't even had it three months. I can only imagine what it will look like a few years down the road. The top (third) rack is very wobbly. You have to get the angle just right to push it in. The dishes on the bottom rack don't clean well at all. You need to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I figured you could rinse them off until all visible food is removed and call it good. Nope. You have to wash them first to have them come out looking clean and this is with high-end dishwasher detergent and a drying agent. I would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone- such a waste of money.

Not a good experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher has not worked consistently since purchased; throwing multiple error codes. Really would like it replaced.
I’m not expecting this unit to have a reasonable appliance life expectancy. Apparently a key business strategy of Frigidaire in my opinion.
Maybe this sweepstakes will allow me to buy a new dishwasher……..

Buy this if you're a wrestling fan.

Regret this purchase every time I try to do a load of dishes because of its bad design.
I have to wrestle with the bottom basket to get it in back into the dishwasher because it always comes off the tracks.
Silverware basket is terrible - big openings in he side that the silverware can slip through (unless you drop it in perfectly straight down into the basket), blocking the basket from being pushed in the dishwasher.
"Bottle washer" is useless because there is no way to hold the bottle upright in order for the spray to reach inside.
Cereal bowls aren't always clean because the racks can't accommodate them properly.
Upper silverware basket is a waste of space. All it does is keep the sprayer from reaching the dishes on the top rack so they don't get clean.
And the dumbest design feature yet: if you find a utensil or a cup or a bowl that you want to add after the dishwasher has started, you need to remember to press the start button before closing the door, otherwise the dishwasher will stop in a minute or so. Why not have it start back up where it left off simply by closing the door again?
Regret this purchase.

Less then 2 years old and frequently doesn’t work or respond at all unless I cycle off power at breaker box. This is our second one (as it matches all the other appliances) I guess I now need a third or need to convince my spouse that the replacement dishwasher doesn’t have to match the rest.

Strong Start, hope it lasts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally speaking, this has been a great dishwasher thus far. The reason we purchased was to have an appliance that washed the dishes, and it does that extremely well! I did not give it a 5 star rating however due to some minor engineering design issues we have. The control pad is continually being pressed (random buttons) by a leg or other part when you load items. And after bumping it a few times it starts beeping. We have a newborn in the house and anything like that is terribly frowned upon. The operation of the washing cycle is extremely quiet, but the control noise (whether we mean to press the buttons or not) is too much. I wish there was a way to make that silent. The drawers seem somewhat loose, and often feel like they'll just fall out or break. But we do love that 3rd drawer! I'm also disappointed with the side rubber strips (that are to cover the gap between the washer and the cupboards), they don't stay stuck on and are continually falling off. All things noted though it is overall a very good dish washing machine - which is truly what is important.
