Doesn't Dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had this installed today. Ran the first wash and it did not dry at all. Online advice says to select Heat Dry or Sahara Dry, neither of which are options on my machine. It's a "professional series" machine, so I guess it requires a professional dishwasher operator to work properly. I am not a professional dishwasher operator. I'm a writer.

Regarding the dishwasher not drying the dishes, make sure that air dry is not being selected, this will result in wet dishes. For optimum drying performance, using a rinse aid has proven to be helpful. Also try using the Hi-Temp Wash option on the model. During the hi-temp wash option, the dishwasher heats water in the main wash to approximately 140F (60C) and increases the temperature higher in the final rinse. The increased water temperature helps the dishwasher detergent removes food grease and soil from dishes more effectively and aids in drying. Hopefully, this helps. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

Hello everyone, I don’t normally write a review but I pretty fed up with my family’s dishwasher. My parents purchased this dishwasher and I believe we are at the 2 year mark. This dishwasher was decent but not great over the first year but immediately we started seeing issues... we have to clean off our dishes fully for it to even attempt to clean the dishes. At that point why not just clean them ourselves... we have about 8 items every cycle that we have to clean after... Also the amount of soap that stays on glasses is awful... we have tried many different detergents because we thought we were doing something wrong... but no we are not. We have tried to clean the dishwasher but nah no point. I would save yourself some time and honestly go with a different company. My parents had a dishwasher for 20 years... it NEVER did anything like this. Save your money and definitely your time. Every time I unload the dishes and glasses I am disappointed. Also the size of compartments are garbage... like half of my things fit well and the other half don’t. Like who tested this out? Clearly someone that has huge wide glasses that have to be super short. Cutting boards good luck? Even the rack for large utensils is to close to the top so any spoons can’t go there. I don’t know people... don’t be like us. Don’t shop here.

Cleans Very Well - Some Design Flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the washer does a great job cleaning. It has several big design flaws though. It makes some improvements over it's predecessor, but some steps back as well. It cleans just as well as other Frigidaire Professional models I have owned.
The good: The washer arms are placed better so you can fit more without worrying about hitting the arms. The spray and scour settings work well, and the third small rack is a real help for cleaning utensils, especially ones you want to keep away from the heating element. The running light (blue) and finished (green) from the foot of the washer onto the floor is a great help. The controls are well placed atop the door. The door is heavy and the inside is easy to keep looking new as it is stainless steel.
The bad: The same rubber boot against the back of the washer (on the arm) still exists, same as older models. These eventually melt and you end up stuck buying a whole arm to get this little rubber boot. The last time I needed one, Frigidare was nice enough to have changed the rack design, so to get the new arm to fit, I needed a new upper rack. All for a small rubber seal. The door shell takes nicks easier than any other appliance I have owned, so one little tap with a dish or any object and you've got a ding. Gone is the 'empty' light when you run low on rinse aid, so you end up always checking the compartment window inside the door to see if you need rinse aid.
The Very Bad: There are some design flaws. The utensil rack is a real pain. It has large openings on the front and sides, and silverware repeatedly falls out of these. Also the little cup racks that fold down are placed so low, you may fit an espresso cup or shot glass under them but that's it. These two design flaws are an incredible nuisance, and had I realized what a pain they were I would have probably looked for another model.

Horrible

Ali had it less than a month used it maybe four times and it quit on me I’ve had people come out change parts and it still doesn’t work so I’m still going through changing parts when it’s a brand new dishwasher I wish I could just get a bran new one to replace this one because I think it’s a lemon

Clean Dry Dishes
