Electronic problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about two years ago with a matching stove and refrigerator. At first felt like it worked well, was quite and looked great. After about 6 months it didn’t seem to clean as well and did some “weird” things like stopping or throwing errors codes. It wasn’t bad enough at first to call a repair and by the time it had the warranty was over. Now the lights don’t work and it won’t run...just makes beeping noises. I expect the computer is shot and doubt it’s going to be worth fixing.

Disappointed in drying capabilities.

We recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, and you’re using the correct amount of rinse aid.
Also know that plastic items like Tupperware or plastic plates are more porous and will take longer to dry and may still be wet after the drying cycle.

Design and quality concerns

We upgraded a new home with the complete Frigidaire Professional Series appliances. From day one we have been largely disappointed by each of the appliances. Specifically with the dishwasher, the quality of the internal racks are low. The slide tracks work poorly and the ‘clips’ that hold the lower plate racks in place are completely inoperable. Every time the lower racks have more than 4 plates (even small ones) in place, you can guarantee after the wash, they will have failed and all of the plates are on their sides. We haven’t experienced any broken items, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. It’s very disappointing that we are considering replacing a number of the appliances after only 4 month in place. It is my opinion that you will be disappointed with these appliances. Had I known prior what I know now, I would never had purchased these appliances. I will review the refrigerator and oven separately.

Worst Dishwasher We Have Owned

This dishwasher came with our new home. We have used it now for 4 months and followed all of the recommendations for proper use and we cannot seem to get our dishes dry. I have never experienced this with any other dishwasher to the degree we have with this one. Even using the longer wash cycles and higher temperatures do not seem to work. With my last dishwasher, I could get fairly dry dishes even after a quick wash. No way with this unit. Additionally, the wash functions do not always work well and we need to re-wash dishes. This is very disappointing particularly since most of the wash cycles are very long - again compared to previous models we have owned or used (14 in all over the years through home moves). Would not recommend this unit. I am seriously considering replacing this dishwasher for another model.

Very quiet but doesn't dry good at all!!!!

When we built our house in 2017 we upgraded to the tier 3 package which was supposed to have the best appliances. Every else seems to work well but the dishwasher never has dried the dishes good at all. I have used rinse aid everytime and have even let the dishes sit in the washer for over a day and when i opened it there was still moisture on the inside and the dishes weren't completely dry. Seems like the very old dishwashers did a much better job than these new ones.

Excellent replacement choice!

I cannot be more pleased with its aesthetics as well as its performance. It is virtually silent in operation! I am looking forward to years of operation.

Pretty but doesn't clean the dishes

Try checking the following things in your home that may improve your dishwasher’s cleaning power.
Have you checked for any kinks or clogs within your drain hose?
If your drain line is attached to a disposer, ensure that the knockout plug has been removed.
Your household water temperature along with the water pressure plays a key role in your appliance’s performance. The recommended temperature should be 120°F (49°C), and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi).
Also, if you’re near your dishwasher after the cycle ends, its ok to go ahead and open the door to release some of the steam. This should help cut down the wear and tear on your floors and improve the drying process of your dishes.
