To hard to keep top clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove in Jan 2019. I bought another Jenn Aire, because my previous Jenn Aire lasted 27 years and was still working when I remodeled my kitchen. This stove top is constant cleaning the black top. The control design on top is in the way. Everytime you lean over to stir a pot the oven turns on. The control top panel, should have rounded corners. A small child will get a cut if they bump the corners.
Cons: Difficult To Clean, Hard To Use, Bulky

Mixed Emotions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, and every day use for over a month I offer the following comments;
Cooktop: Heats quickly and evenly. Surface maintenance is easy, quite pleased with cooking performance. Bit of a glitch with the hot surface indicator pilot lights. When the left front burner is on the right hot surface indicator is on. When the right burner is on both indicators are on.
Upper Oven: Takes very long to reach temperature, my guess due to the large cooking area. However the selected temperature is not achieved and first use resulted in additional cooking time and under browning of dishes. I followed the temperature calibration guide and raised the set point by 15 degrees f. Cooking was somewhat improved but still required additional time and dish looked anemic in color. Further adjustments will be tried.
Lower Oven: This was the selling feature of this model for me, a small oven to cook biscuits, etc. Major disappointment, browning is almost nonexistent. I don’t have time or the luxury of experimenting to find the right settings to get this to work.
Summary: I would rate the stovetop, overall construction and appearance of the appliance a 5. The ovens leave me cold, (yes that’s a pun) fortunately if have another wall oven which will be my go to appliance for baking. The JennAir oven may become a storage place for a few new pans I have been admiring.

Cons: Hard To Use

What’s not to love?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been enjoying the lower oven. It saves me time and i am getting used to the new cooking times. I love the look and ease of use. The digital pad turns on when i clean it but i prefer to have the knobs on top and in front of the stove for ease of use. This design meets all my requirements and it was a great purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now had this about two weeks and thus far I am very happy with it. I'm still getting used to it and the only complaint I have is it is kind of a pain to clean. I bought the recommended Affresh cleaning kit, which I would have thought would have been included with the purchase, but it is a challenge to eliminate streaks on the cooking surface. Hopefully I'll figure out the secret of overcoming this idiosyncrasy. Everything else about it is great.
