Pretty on the outside, but NOT useful on the insis

Looks like a NICE stainless steel frig, but inside, the space is Terrible. I can't wait to get rid of it. THere are so many bulges on the side of the walls and in the back and the light on top, that REALLY limits the amount of storage space on the shelves. Freezer is the smallest I 've ever seen.NOT MY FAVORITE.

It does a great job with all kinds of foods. Plenty of storage space. I'm new to stainless steel and I think the door is hard to keep clean.

Good Refrigerator

I gave this refrigerator four stars because of the issue I am facing with it today. Purchased less than six months ago, and the freezer/refrigerator is not freezing/cooling very well. GE is going to service it and hopefully it'll get fixed (hopefully under warranty). Aside from this, great refrigerator!

Takes getting used to!

In all our years of marriage, we'd always had refrigerators with the freezer on top, except for the one we were replacing, which was a bottom freezer model. Everything works well in this side-by-side, and it has greater capacity than the one we replaced. Has taken some adjustment to get used to the new format. We love the ice/water feature; we'd never had that feature before.

Lousy design, no shelf space.

Worst refrigerator design I have ever seen. Both refrigerator and freezer shelves are so narrow that nothing of any size can be put on them to properly chill or to hold during prep. Hope you like tiny holiday dinners because a decent sized turkey or ham will never fit. The freezer shelves are TINY and rock back and forth, Much of the shelving is too bulky and very hard to adjust. Door racks collide with shelves in some positions so they cannot be adjusted for what you need. Water filetr only lasts a few months and is very expensive.

This is a replacement from GE that was installed Feb 2016. Great to look at, easy to clean. Very quiet until about a month ago, but we'll get that fixed.

Problems with icemaker. hollow cubes, get crushed ice when requesting cubes.
Overall size smaller that I thought.
