Nice refrigerator!

We bought this refrigerator during a kitchen remodel. We wanted the sleek look of a counter-depth fridge--bought it sight unseen, as there were no floor models to view in our town. We are pleased with the features; especially the multiple lights inside.

Not as much room as my old refrigerator and difficult to get ice in glass.

Bought another GE side by side after 15 good years of heavy use with the old one. Bought online for a much more reasonable price than what others being sold in my area were selling for. I'm beyond pleased and hope that GE will continue to make reliable appliances. I had done a lot of research online and GE reputation wasn't all that good and my appliance guy told me to stay far away from GE refrigerators, well, I'm glad I didn't listen to his advise. This new refrigerator is roomier! Love it! Hope you will too!

Biggest problem is the lack of leveling adjustments. Can't level it and can't lock the fridge in a position without it moving.

This is part of a package of GE appliances in a kitchen renovation. GE seemed reasonably priced, easy to get service. The refrigerator was difficult to assemble with tons of tape and shelving very tight. Once set, works well. Although it has a door alarm, several times the freezer door has not fully closed and it quickly frosts up --NO ALARM! Since it has happened several times and I am very aware of closing door now, this is a nuisance and a mystery.

nice but not perfect

Have had this refrigerator for 3 months. All is functioning well except the ice maker. The sensor that stops the ice from being over produced does not function properly. The ice maker continues to produce ice until it is falling out of the ice bin and into the freezer every time I open the freezer door. The only way to stop the ice production is to manually turn it off. I had a GE repairman out today.

Good looking machine. My wife wanted stainless front. Previous GE Profile lasted 17 years. Let's hope this one will do the same. Nice interior layout. It's larger than my previous GE.
