Disappointing

All our other new GE Monogram products are great, but the refrigerator was disappointing for several reasons. The doors don't line up very well at the top and bottom, and are difficult to pull open (too much suction). The interior space feels small, and some of the white plastic pieces were very roughly cut, so they look bad. When the refrigerator is operating, it makes a lot of fairly loud noises, and I'm not talking about the ice maker dumping ice cubes into the bin. This is minor, but the water dispenser puts out a very thin stream, so it takes forever to fill a glass. Everything works, but it was just disappointing compared to the quality I was expecting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

draws and shelves

I have been a GE consumer for over 40 years and I have notice that with each new year your product and been made cheaper in material. The draws wobble when pulled in and out and hit the side of the refrigerator.Draws were replaced with same results. Freezer shelves unstable,poor quality.

Had a couple months, every time you open it squeaks, groans and rattles, very annoying.

Very good refrigerator but was DOA

Very good refrigerator but was dead on arrival. Technician needed to replace the motherboard. This appears to be a common problem and indicates a serious lack of quality control. If you can deal with this inconvenience, it is a very good refrigerator. Good features and very quiet.

Limited space

I replaced my white Profile with a counter depth SS since I needed more space for walk way. It accomplishes that but the drawers & shelves especially in the doors are awkward and don't hold very much even tho the cubic feet is about the same as my old one. The freezer compartment is very small. It has a whiney noise when running a makes a cracking sound internally sometimes. The ice maker is not as good as my 20 year old one. It often gives out too much ice and other times grinds and does not dispense any ice. Another sticking point is that the counter depth cost more than a larger, regular one. It is not the quality that I would expect from the GE Profile series.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Space in the fridge is good, freezer is a little tight but we knew that, overall happy with the purchase, no mechanical problems after 2 months.
