Our refrigerator lasted 4 years. The GE repairman tried to fix it over two weeks. He ultimately said it couldn’t be repaired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had this appliance almost 5 years and we just had the repairman leave our home. This is probably the 7th repair call we have had related to this fridge. The ice maker was replaced twice, approximately 3 parts of the cooling system have ben replaced and now it seems that there is a coolant leak that is going to require another repair. I simple sleek look of this fridge, but the performance has been horrible.

Looks nice, does not work for a family

This refrigerator was in the home I just purchased. The previous owners remodeled their entire kitchen and put in GE Profile appliances all-around. They must not have been fans of eating or cooling off their food 'cause this is the smallest fridge I've ever seen in a kitchen of this size (20x20). I've had so many issues with the fridge since I moved in - ice make broke, shelves cracked, door bins cracked, freezer slide-out bin fronts fall off (all of them!) and, now, the fridge won't keep it's temperature. Very Frustrating. For a re-do, I would not purchase this item with what I know now.

I did my research and decided on this model as it is a counter depth without the huge price tag. The stainless steel look is beautiful and it really is handy having filtered water and ice at the ready. The drawers slide out easily and the shelves on the door have just enough room for all the essentials. It is a smaller model with the ice maker taking up space. It's perfect for someone single or a couple.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This frig has great space and functionality. I sometime forget it is counter depth!!
The drawers have good space and the shelves can be adjusted to provide for individual needs. It is easy to program, easy to use and really like the organization capability in the freezer.

We had a GE profile that was only 3 years old. The pan on the bottom behind the produce drawer rusted out which made condensation on the wall. Come to find out the center wall was frozen. We purchased this one and hope it will last. We do like the look and space. Was recommended to purchase another profile.

We purchased our frig when building our new home. We wanted a counter depth appliance for general appearances. This frig fit the bill and the looks and style are simple, clean and elegant. We have had no issues with noise, quality or anything. The interior is spacious for a counter depth and more than adequate for us. We couldn't be happier with it. Thanks GE.
