Noisy Ice Maker

The Icemaker makes a annoying noice, we have had service out and we were told live with it. It is something that cannot be repaired. It easier to live with GE.

Freezer shelves fall out easily!

We absolutely hate this fridge. Many times the freezer shelves fall out with the frozen food on them and once hit my foot! Not happy. Also our fridge grows mold inside due to excessive moisture. Will never buy a GE fridge again!

Refrigerator-side ice build-up on evaporator coils

I bought this refrigerator 4 years ago. A month ago the refrigerator section was 54 degrees. The evaporator coils (refrigerator-side) keep freezing over and I need to manually defrost them every few days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Giant light housing.

The light housing in this fridge is much to big. It is impossible to store almost anything larger than a pickle jar on the topmost shelf.
