This fridge holds every print and scratches easily without doing anything obvious. Avoid!

Nice size for small family

I purchased this about a month ago. Within 2 weeks the water line for the ice machine came loose and started getting hit by the fan which made a terrible racket.
we had a repair person come to fix it and all they did was tape it to a side wall inside the unit and within another week that fell off and we finally fixed it ourselves by using wire to tie the water line away from the fan. the manufacturer had only used tape to hold it up and that does not stay on very long. Otherwise the unit operates as we expected.

This is our 3rd replacement in 1.5 years. Each of these refrigerators have made very loud clicking noises that can not be repaired.

Good upgrade to the former Profile refrigerators

We had the former version of this GE Profile Side by Side Refrigerator. After using it for a while, it seemed as if it was designed by an accountant. This updated version corrected the quirks. The butter keeper in the upper door doesn't interfere with what you put in the space like the old one. The lower drawers are simpler and don't have the special closer feature on the lowest drawer that broke after a while. The ice storage has a door that allows you to grab gobs of ice at once rather than inch-out a cumbersome cover. The fridge is also taller by several inches with more usable interior volume. They also eliminated odd shaped ducts that took up volume in the old version. The refrigerator is quiet.
One note of caution, when we rolled out the old version from its cabinet enclosure, while it was full, the outer, sharp edge of the plastic front wheels scored the new house's wood floor! The bottom sheet metal mounting was so weak, the wheel assembly tilted under the weight! There was no brace to support the innermost, 4th corner of the wheel assemblies. The corners hung in mid air. This new version of the refrigerator still doesn't support for the 4th corner of the wheel assemblies.
