Very quiet running and no-noise ice maker!

This product is very streamlined in exterior appearance. The icemaker is very quiet; but the inside bucket is too high (I am only 5'2") and I cannot see the inside of the bucket or turn off the icemaker - have to use a stool. Would have liked more freezer storage bins and/or shelves. I do not care for the "collapsible" refrigerator shelf -- collapses much too easily, thus causing damage inside. In general, this is a sound mid-line product!

No trouble with the fridge. Plenty of ice

I wish it had an on off ice button on the door. It overfills the ice and ice falls into the freezer. The water tastes great out of it. We love the counter depth and glad we opted for it. It has enough storage for me and my wife. Fit's a Dijorno pizza box but not a large carry out pizza box. It does run a lot but it's not that loud. All refrigerator compressors run a lot.

Overall performance of refrigererator is fine but the ice maker function is poor at best.
If you select crush ice, the delivery spout clogs almost immediately.
Cannot understand why this happens. Delivers cubes OK

Price was right, couldn't afford a french door, so bought a side by side. In comparison- much less room. Ice maker is very noisy.

Love this refrigerator! The biggest point are the modular shelves and soda can rack. The improved ice maker and water filtration are great upgrades.

Wonderful but...

I bought this in November to start a kitchen makeover and because my old ge profile was beginning to leak and not work as it once did. I technically gained 2 cubic feet in the freezer but that turns out to be unusable air space. The side by side version has a narrower freezer that, due to the shelves and drawers, doesn't allow for the "tetris" style packing that I had mastered in my old fridge which was a top freezer with just one shelf and the floor. The shelves are both shallow and narrow so you have to really work to get everything in and the door to close. After adjusting to the space allocation of the freezer the fridge side seems cavernous. This would be great for a bigger family (it's just me and my husband). I tend to make too much and then package and freeze but also like to freeze fresh fruit so I'll have it when its season ends. I got the counter depth so that might explain the narrow and shallowness as it is only 28 inches deep but is quite tall. Overall, it's a good fridge/freezer once you adjust to it.
