I bought this unit to replace a 20 year old GE S/S. This one is significantly quieter and seems to have more interior space.

FREEZER TOO SMALL, ICE MAKER VERY SLOW AND TAKES UP TOO MUCH SPACE. FRIG DOOR DOESN'T ALWAYS CLOSE, LIGHT IN FRIG TAKES UP TOO MUCH SPACE. WISH I NEVER PURCHASED

I like the refrigerator but the ice maker doesn't work as well as other ice makers I have had. It is slow to make ice.

Refrigerator is good but the ice maker dispenser design is horrible. The auger has to push ice up hill into the shoot which is very in-efficient. I see the auger motor not lasting the life of the refrigerator since it has to work so hard to dispense ice. The ice maker is very noisy compared to the previous side-by-side GE refrigerator we had.

Terrible - Too Small - Makes LOUD Buzzing Noise

This refrigerator is not at all what I expected. The inside is so small, I can't fit anything. The light at the top is huge and takes up all of your upper shelf space. The worst part about this refrigerator is when the inside temperature goes down just slightly (say you leave the door open for more than 30 seconds) it make this very loud buzzing noise for 30 minutes or more off and on. We have to pull the refrigerator out from the wall and slap the back for it to stop. But that only works temporarily. It's awful and I will not buy GE again.
