It was time to replace my 5 qt saute' pan and finding one that had the width and depth was not easy. My last pan warped a bit and I needed a replacement that I would not have to again, replace. My sister recommended Cuisinart as a brand that I would have "probably forever" as her set is still like brand new. This pan is PERFECT. The size is exactly what I needed to be able to cook a meal in a single pan for a family of four. The heat is even across the bottom of the pan and it can be put directly into the oven - a great bonus since my last pan could not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It seems really flimsy compared to some other pans we have.
I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED on the fact the lid isn’t glass! Every single one we have has a glass lid. This lid is very “cheap” looking and feeling. Wish I would not have bought it!

I love this pan! The size is perfect for cooking everything at one time in lieu of fryed or sautéd foods being prepared in two or three stages because the pan is too small. This 5.5 qt size is perfect for large meal preparation.

I love have such a large size Saute pan, because I do a lot of sauteing. Have one problem, although not related to the quality of the pan, it is actually difficult for me to handle when emptying! Oh well. . .if I had a smaller one, I would have to cook more batches!
