The overall quality is pretty good for the Sony X930E tv however regarding set top cable box context there are 2 things could rather improve. First, is when watching regular movie context over the cable box feed the movie “300” for example is very very grainy looking and the contrast is way off. Another thing which isn’t that big of a deal but important is lettering let’s say watching CNN there is fussy lighting around all the lettering. I would expect this kind of television has some kind of corrective upscaling. I mean I bought a tv with an extreme processor. Whats so extreme of the tv can’t handle with a tv this advanced and powered up for this tv these should be relatively minor problems.
After taking some time to write a very positive review, I am disappointed my it was rejected and would have tried to edit / modify it but I don't see where that is possible and I am not wasting more time rewriting one!..
I spent days comparing pictures side by side and had narrowed my choice down between the 65” OLED and LG. I decided on the OLED because of Sony’s processing history and am positive I made the right choice. The set is sleek and the picture superb. However the software is slow and I’m still not certain how to fine tune everything but definitely recommend this to anyone who wants the best picture. Overall an amazing picture and set and in my opinion the top set on the market. Well worth the investment.
Have had my Sony 930E for 3 weeks and can not take my eyes off of it, the picture is phenomenal, out of this world, love this TV. Paired it with a new Sony streaming DVD player and all is right with the world.
