I have been looking for a new TV for quite some time. The sales person at Best Buy recommended this over the Samsung and LG models and said I would not be disappointed. He was correct. It was easy to set up and the picture is amazing. Everything connected seamlessly and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. It’s has a GREAT picture!!!!! However the android tv software is very slow and buggy. Lots of app crashes and getting stuck resulting in the tv restarting itself. If you purchase this tv, it is a must to get a Roku or Apple TV etc...

Excellent 4K Ultra HD tv. Easy to set up. Purchased this set for the bedroom. Apps are easy to find and easier to install. Have an Apple TV attached to it.

Pitiful OS

Purchased about 6 months ago specifically for Android TV OS. Picture is adequate but inferior to several LG and even a Haier set i own. Interface is sluggish and freezes for painful moments at a time. Remote can be unresponsive for up to 30 seconds. Performed factory. Reset with limited improvement. OS is hellbent on providing unwanted recommendations and pushes Sony content. My first and last Sony product!

Great Panel lack luster OS

I have had the 65A1E for a few months now and, I would say that the choice of OS for a TV of this price point should have been better thought out. I find that the OS freezes, locks up, and really is not worthy of such a wonderful panel. Wifi has stopped working twice I have had to restart the TV or reset to factory setting and reconfigure it both times. The TV's design is unique, the form is elegant and looks good in any setting, however, the OS and its' quirks are flawed and stains the Sony name. I have been with Sony since the 80's from gaming systems to TV's and this OS choice for a flagship Panel was not a correct business choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I reviewed many comments on various websites before deciding on this particular Sony X900F TV. I am glad that I took the positive advice and purchased it because it has a great picture and a very sleek look (tiny frame around the screen and slim overall). My only criticism would be that it does not have component video connections which, though somewhat outdated, would have made my DVR hookup easier. The Blu ray HDMI hookup is great however and delivers a terrific picture!
