Just purchased the X900F because it appears to be about the best non OLED 4K TV Sony makes. It took a lot of time for 1 person to put together and setup. The setup pictures were terrible. A few words would have helped a lot. I had some strange issues trying to connect to my 5ghz network connection. I had use the 2.4ghz for now. The setup needed a Google account and I did not have time to figure out my logon info during the setup. I set that up later. I find it difficult to locate things from the Home screen. It is much different than my previous Sony TVs for setting up. At this point I still need to review everything and make sure all is well. TV works great. Trying to get the second HDMI cable into HDMI3 was a beast. I dont understand why Sony went to vertical slots. Its very hard to fit the cable into the HDMI3 slot for my Home Theater.

This tv is not a tv, it is a portal into a new dimension of entertainment. Watching 4K UHD movies on this will arrest all of the fear within you and vanquish your heart grasping at the strings of your soul.
This tv will remind you of why our universe is so beautiful and what a good investment it is in yourself and in your family to experience stories as you never have before.

This is my second 4K Sony (other is a 65" in my country home) and I cannot say enough good things about it (or the 65"). It is in our MBR and gets daily use. The picture is sharp and the colors bright and vivid. The only issue I have is with the sound - have to run this up at 20 plus to really hear it and that is not the case with my other one. As far as the apps are concerned, we use Netflix , HBO Go, Showtime and Prime and they seem to work flawlessly. I also have a Roku installed to provide access to Acorn and Britbox which are not included in the Sony apps. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

Amazing Picture, Design & Sound, Horrible Remote.

Sony has the best OLED design to incorporate the electronics and sub into the pedestal. I love the innovative amazing OLED picture and engineering to vibrate the glass display to produce sound. The remote is very difficult to use with the tight placement of the buttons. For the A1E's high price, the remote should be backlit and re-engineered. (See Oppo Blu-ray Remotes, Panasonic easy large button remotes with backlighting, and LG's smart wand remotes).
