I have the 900E series (2017), i needed another TV for my bedroom, so i picked up the 900F in 55 inch. The biggest thing i noticed was better sound quality over the previous series. The picture quality is spectacular, the menu layout etc i was already familiar with, its very snappy. Apps load fast! And i assembled it all myself, but would say 2 people would make it easier.
Overall, very happy with the new TV!

Bought it when old tv quit working. And wanted to up grade to a smart tv. We watch a far amount to of tv and why not get ultra 4K hd . Super glad we did. We purchased a 55” because of the placement, wish we could have bought the 65”

Love the picture the tv produces and the built in speakers are amazing. TV produces good colors and I have seen very little blooming issues in dark scenes. I have messed with the setting several times and believe I found the best settings and I am very happy with my purchase.

-The only real issue I have had with the tv is the HDMI 3 input going wonky and require a hard reset of the tv. I swapped out devices and HDMI cords and got the same result on the HDMI 3 input. I tried the other inputs and the picture was fine. When I did a hard reset the issue was fixed. This has happened two times since owning the tv.
Other then the only con I have I am very pleased with the TV. This TV replaced a 50 inch Plasma TV and I honestly think the picture is as good as a Plasma, but its not better. Maybe an OLED TV might beat a Plasma, but that price was out of reach.

Everything I own is a Sony, I even have a Sony credit card. This TV was the easiest I had to setup. I was surprised that it has picture in picture. The only thing I don't like is when you are using the remote that it has to be aim perfectly, but I have 5 Sony TV's and they are all the same. I can't comment about the sound since I use my receiver and it plays nicely with my play station.

I have bought both the 55" and 65". The 65" after the 55" because I liked it so much. I wanted an OLED. But believe me after you see the Sony X900F you will fall in love with it. It is so very close in the picture quality of an OLED you can hardly even notice the difference. The quality of the cabinet build of the TV is wonderful too.

I bought this TV after having to return a Samsung 55 inch Q6F. That tv sucked and this new Sony TV literally blows it out the water in all aspects. So glad I made the switch or else I would have been stuck with a sub par tv.
