I bought this tv a month ago after MUCH research and reading reviews. It's great! Picture perfect. Easy set-up of both Sony remote AND cable remote AND android phone app (probably won't use) so that either can be used. Just a little disappointed in sound quality, but I am adding a soundbar and that should add just enough to make this the best viewing ever.
We bought this TV about a month ago and it is everything we had hoped for and more. The picture clarity is fantastic and it even "upgrades" the older shows so that they look better. Basketball games are super to watch with no blur, no shadowing, nothing, just super picture.
I purchased this tv a month ago and I have just one word for the x900f tv AWESOME
I would recommend this to a friend!

Suddenly won't turn on

Purchased this tv just over 2 years ago. It was a great tv until tonight, when we tried to turn it on and it's dead, it won't turn on. We tried all the troubleshooting recommendations and nothing works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this TV 2-1/2 years ago to replace our 10-year-old Sony Bravia (unsmart tv). We were happy with it until last week when massive horizontal lines started filling the screen. The amount to fix this out-of-warranty, but less than three-year-old tv, is almost the amount we paid for it.
Do NOT buy this piece of junk. It will be nice for a couple years, then go kaput.
