Just bought this TV a few weeks ago...loving the overall picture quality. Basically ignored all the suggested calibration settings, etc. that one can find online and set up the TV to my own liking. Colors are vibrant, picture is sharp without artifacts. The “Smart” features are somewhat laggy, and HDR & Dolby Vision content can be somewhat dim depending on the content (may not be the TV’s fault). Gets a little fussy sometimes with my Yamaha soundbar, which is connected to the HDMI ARC input...outputs audio thru the TV speakers and soundbar simultaneously on occasion...necessitating manually switching to the soundbar in the Action Menu. Other than that, couldn’t be happier. Great TV!
The picture and quality are incredible. The sound is great even has a bit of bass to it which was totally unexpected. Games look phenomenal with this thing and HDR was everything I expected it to be. I'd give it a 5 but there are a few software things that bug me. I havent done the firmware update yet but the menu layout splits apps into two categories apps and featured apps. Basically, if you use an app that isnt preferred you have to scroll farther. The menus lag a bit which is frustrating since it can lead to pressing something multiple times since I can't tell if it just hadnt picked up me button press. Some of the hidden things could be explained better or pointed out to begin with, like double pressing the home button to open the 'open apps' thing, to switch or kill apps. The real issue is when it comes to casting. Like the tv sometimes just doesnt show up. Never had a tv that made chromecast difficult but the update might change that. The other frustration is that itll randomly turn my playstation on. Other than that it was 1000% worth cutting my booze buget for a month.
