[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cooktop is a great replacement for my previous one. Looks good. Nice even heating. Easy to clean. Boils water so quick compared to anything else I've used. Speed Boost is nice if you need something heated up quick. Would recommend to anyone.

Poor ergonomics

2. Poor energy efficiency...it uses 130W while OFF!
3. Can barely hear the beeper for the timer.
4. ... The title for this survey should have included the appliance name not just a big string of digits.

Nice look and very funcitonal

Got all my appliances at Bosch but this black slick cooktop is the heart of my kitchen w modern looking hood. Induction with 5 burners !

Do not buy

I bought this a year ago and while it works OK, the design is poor, the SS edging only is on the top and bottom, where the sides are just the glass. one month after I had it installed the side chipped, not sure how, I do not drop pans on it. then just a month ago my husband noticed a crack going from another little chip on the side, now this week it is a full blow crack and the side corner is chipping also. I am not that hard on a cooktop and these should be built to withstand any type of pan on it. I have very nice SS heavier pans, but that should not be a problem for a cooktop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful & easy to use

It's my 1st time using an induction cooktop & I love how quickly it responds to temp. changes. The only complaint is that it's really hard to see the burner outlines in most light. There is just not enough contrast with the black cooktop.
