Awesome for so many reasons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a big step going away from gas, but so glad we did. The heat control on this is instant, the looks are sleek, but the best is the clean up. I am so glad to be free from removing the grates to clean my cooktop. The induction was new to us and everyone in the family loves it.

Better and safer than Electric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We switched from the standard electric cooktop to have the safety and speed of induction, it definitely paid off! Heating the burner only where the pan is, a faster cool off time, and burners that do not turn on unless approved cookware is on them is a must and is a huge safety factor in our home. Boiling water and reheating food is a lot faster. Having the speed boost mode and a timer for every burner is a great safety and convenience option. Seeing exactly where to set the pans are a little harder when used to a white cooktop, but lighting is probably a big factor as well. With just a month of usage, it was a great switch, especially for the safety and efficiency. Cleaning it only requires a window cleaner and not scraping. I just wish we would have bought the one with the stainless trim to make cleaning easier.

Sleek beautiful precise and fast - it has it all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaces a gas cooktop from another manufacturer that had a problem that was no longer repairable. The induction cooktop is much more minimal in design - a simple sheet of black glass, easy to clean and use. The most surprising thing about this cooktop is the speed and control-ability. It is faster and easier to control than the previous gas cooktop. To add to the appliance related joy, it has a timer so that you can turn off the burner when the soft-boiled eggs are done, automatically. Fabulous.

Go Induction

Induction is a great technology. I’ve read a number of reviews about induction including comments about noise and pans not working. There is a some noise but it is very minimal and certainly not bothersome. All of my pans worked except one. This technology is a great cooking technology. It reacts immediately to changes in the controls and the boost function boils water in amazingly little time. The glass top is sleek and easy to clean. Give induction a try you won’t regret it.

Amazing!

We bought this cooktop a month ago and absolutely love it! The speed of cooking is much faster and our food actually tastes better because of the even cooking heat. Clean up is also a breeze. Clean as you cook. This was a wonderful purchase!

Very Pleased!

After getting over the hump of install due to cutout in granite, it has operated as expected. It does take time getting used to, but both wife and I love it. We notice it cleans up much easier than previous electric cooktops and this model (36 inch) is the only induction cooktop that works on a 40amp circuit which I believe to be pretty standard wiring found for most homes for cooktops. All others we researched have to have a 50 amp circuit for a 36 inch model and we didn't want to have to run new electrical to handle. Good job Bosch.

Lovin' It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to clean. Easy to use, didn't even have to read the cute little book that comes with it. Hubby LOVES the rapid boil, but who doesn't like super hot water in a less than 3 minutes. Timer function is perfect for hard boiled eggs, set it and forget it. I would buy this again and again. Bonus it looks SOOOO pretty in the kitchen!
