Case works well because it fits phone and doesn't add much to weight of phone. Unique design. I don't know if it really adds much protection because the design side is very slick on smooth surfaces and will slide off table like a air hockey puck. Flipping the phone to screen side on table gives some grip but who wants to have your face touch everything the table surface has touched.
Pros: Durable
Cons: mostly decorative case
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this case, I love the look and color but my only downside is that it's too slippery. I have a defender and the silicone is my favorite part. If this phone had a little more of the silicone feel that the defenders have I'd only buy this kind. It's just too easy to slip out of my hand and off the table

I love this case, the colors are vibrant and it's interesting. Much easier to handle, since it is an all in one case versus the commuter. The only gripe I have is the fact that it does not come with a screen protector. It is already more expensive than the commuter, but has no screen protector... For the price I believe a screen protector should be included. That being said, I still love the case!

I think the flowers and colors are great. I like that it isn't bulky. I do not like how slick the back of the case is and have had it slide off and hit the floor. When it does, the phone pops out of the case. I realize it isn't going to protect like the defender but was hoping it would be a little sturdier. I still would recommend this case if you are looking for a stylish and less bulky case for your Samsung 5.

Otterbox is the best for a reason, these are solid a symmetry are also very nice looking cases!! I hope they make more patterns/colors as I like to change my case. I'm also a klutz and drop my case and with Otterbox I know it's not gonna break! I appreciate when they have discounts as these are a bit more pricey than others but worth it!

Otter Box has never failed us, and their customer support is instant.
I am so glad that the company finally started to diversify from their monochromatic palette and branch out into colours AND themes. It's frustrating wanting a more unique case, but not wanting to put your faith in another company that just may not be up to the task.

I got the case, and was surprised to see that it was a single piece design. This was easily overlooked when I slipped it on my phone and got that safe and secure feeling.
My only criticism with the product is that it does NOT come with a screen protector, and yet was about $5USD MORE than my husband's Commuter, which of course is two-piece and comes with a screen protector.
So next time I want a case, I might not be as quick to invest in a Symmetry if it means I end up paying more, and then more again.
