2nd unit and both go out every few months/weeks

1st unit under manuf warranty went out 3 times, each time they had trouble finding a repair person. I would wait months for repairs (so I rarely got to even use it during that time it sat broken). I thought I got a bad one, so I got another of the same to match my other appliances and it's been the same. This one has went out consistently every 3-5 months. This last time it lasted a few days after the repair man came and now I wait again for a repair. Meanwhile, my good old trusty 10 year old cheapy countertop model is still going (we have to keep it out because the Bosch breaks so much which defeats the point of spending all that $ on a space saving in wall unit). The in wall unit basically sits there because we have hardly used it. I am afraid to use the oven function due to the fragility of these so we have only used the microwave and not even very often. It is hard losing so many lost days at work to wait on repair people. This is the 5th repair to this unit in less than a year. Next time I will get a different brand. Repair man said they are made to last 1 year, we weren't that lucky with either unit.

Not up to Bosch Standard

Have had this speed oven for three years and it has broken down four times. Twice it had to have the entire wiring harness replaced and every time it has also needed the door switches replaced. Usually takes a month or two to fix as the parts are always back ordered. If I didn't already have the matching wall oven stacked with it, I would have given up on this thing a long time ago. The only saving grace was I got a three year extended warranty where I purchased it. Make sure you do the same, you will need it!

Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoy that this was installed over our oven. Easy to keep clean. Everything seems to wipe right off the sides and you can easily remove the bottom rotating dish to clean or wipe down. No real hard chemicals needed to wipe down.

Convection failed after 4 months

However after just four months with only occasional use the convectiion mode has stopped working. It turns on, fan comes on, but never heats up. I had read reviews on this oven prior to purchase and had noted a number of display and other problems but I really didn't expect something to fail this quickly.
Now I unfortunately get to experience how good Bosch service is in person.

Love my speed oven. But...

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I absolutely love my speed oven and don't know how I managed for so long without it. My one and only complaint is the door. It opens down like my old oven did. I had to place my speed oven over my new Bosch double oven, if the door swung to the side, it would be ideal. Opening down means I have to step on a stool to get into it. But I love the speed cooker so much that it's worth the minor inconvenience.

Speed oven is right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is fast! Microwave heats up much faster than any I've had before and the oven works incredible well particularly for items that are small when you don't want to heat up a large oven. Love the controls. Very easy and intuitive to use.

Super Addition to Our New Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unique product was just the ticket for our needs. We wanted a double wall oven but did not have the space. A microwave over the cooktop was not appealing as we preferred a dedicated range hood.
We're finding this unit was the perfect solution in combination with a Bosch wall oven. It is quieter than a typical consumer-grade microwave and seems to bake and heat very quickly.
We especially like the preheat progress bar.

3rd repair in 4 years

Bought this during a kitchen renovation. Although it has worked great, at year 3 I replaced the panel because the brightness faded then died. Now at year 4 the microwave has died twice within 2 months of each other. I've now paid for parts and labor that is 2/3 the cost of this oven. Not worth it in my opinion.
