Barely a year old and. Crashed again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so frustrated, installed this a little over a year ago, and it just stopped, cooled off, started again, then nothing. Appliance place came out, said control panel. A month of waiting and they installed new control panel. Technician said there was a loose wire, that probably caused the short in the control board.
Here we are a couple weeks later, and it stopped again. Another service call, and we shall see. I paid a lot for this speed oven. The salesman said it was the best.....not sure. I love Bosch, and have many of their appliances. Not so sure now

Love the flexibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my Bosch appliances were installed two weeks before Thanksgiving. The speed oven was just perfect. A perfect size for those extras that come with a big dinner event as well as the flexibility to warm, microwave, or cook something not requiring a large oven. My cabinet installer worked with the Bosch appliances I selected and loved designing around them. He has since referred them to other customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful, works well, quirky -not recommended

Recently purchased product, looks beautiful, microwave and oven work well, temperature maintenance seems to be precise.
It has a quirk.
When using the microwave it chimes when finished - this is great. However, when opening and closing the door to remove the microwaved item, the chime will continue chiming until you press the clear button.
Maybe you think this is a small problem, but it is an annoyance every time you use the microwave. Every microwave I have used in my life has turned off its reminder chime upon opening and closing the door after its done. This is a clear violation of good user design as Bosch is now 're-teaching' me how to use a microwave after 40 years of life.
For the design to be acceptable to a product engineer or marketer is unforgivable.
I don't recommend the appliance for this flaw even though it does work well and looks great.

3rd repair in 4 years

Bought this during a kitchen renovation. Although it has worked great, at year 3 I replaced the panel because the brightness faded then died. Now at year 4 the microwave has died twice within 2 months of each other. I've now paid for parts and labor that is 2/3 the cost of this oven. Not worth it in my opinion.

Space Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this combination convection/microwave because I wanted two wall ovens, but didn't have the space for a separate microwave oven. We have used both featues equally and love the flexibitly of this appliance. The only annoying thing is that once the microwave finishes, it continues to beep that it's finished... even after opening, removing the food, and closing. You always have to press Cancel - even if you want to add additional time. Other than that annoyance, we've been very happy in the past couple months using it.

Electric speed oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very powerful microwave, easy to clean. I LOVE the fact that I can cook by time without pushing a bunch of buttons! Still getting used to the convection cooking feature, haven't tried it much. My only problem with it is that the kitchen timer is not loud enough. You have to be standing quite close to be able to hear it.

This product has a display problem

Purchased a new home with this product works very well when it works but our display went out shutting off the unit shortly after the warranty. Bosch authorized the repair because they knew they had a display problem but three months after the repair the new display went out and we no longer have a Microwave the service company A1 quality-appliance only warrants parts and service for 30 days so we have to foot the bill per Bosch. My suggestion is look for a different microwave and service company. In Boise I found Cody Appliance Service will warranty there parts and labor for 3 years not sure the parts will be any better but once I pay I will be good for 3 years
