size vs self contained

sounds better in smaller rooms against a wall vs open kitchen, bought them for my kitchen so i won't blow out the fam with "thumper" (spl150?) and his little sisters(800series floor speakers) ended buying the One's II which have a baby sub and appears to be more self contained.
and put the sixes back in my room by the bed, where they just "fit" i have several sets and have purchased as gifts, in fact there another set in my trunk as a gift to be delivered soon

Klipch must add hard metal cover.

Klipsch must add hard metal cover (mesh) on their premium speakers for extra protection. It's unacceptable not to protect speaker membrane from accidental damage on their expensive speakers. It would be great if we can attach or detach it.

No headphone jack

It may seem weird to think of hooking headphones to such magnificent speakers, but I cannot consider any powered speakers without a headphone jack - open floorplan creates occasional conflict with TV.
Pros: Attractive, Easy To Set Up

Got these hoping to eliminate a amp.. These are great looking speakers.. but they def need tone control.. and i have to go up to 10 - 15 clicks on vol to get volume... I also have RP-160m which sound wayyyy better than these..

The sound is excellent. Surprisingly solid bass response. Treble is clear and accurate. Pretty much play as loud as you want, also surprising for a smallish speaker. Bought them as a gift and after hearing them for a weekend bought a pair for myself. True story. The first pair did come with a missing function knob, however Klipsch is sending me a new one. They were going to replace the speakers but after I checked out all of the functions, they worked fine and so I didn’t want the hassle of sending them back for replacements. Haven’t yet received the knob but it’s only been about a week or so. I’ll reply back if I don’t receive it.

Nice sounding speakers. They sound very natural with my turntable. However, the bluetooth is very spotty. I never got it to pair with my iPhone, although android worked (only after several factory resets). Lack of a headphone jack or EQ control is problematic.
