Feel in love with music again

I work from home and spend a lot of time at my desk. I had been using a pair of harmon kardon computer speakers from early 2000. I was getting tired of the hum that was coming from them and the dead sound. I thought I would get another pair of "computer" speakers. As I researched a bit, I came across Klipsch. I had a pair of 4.2 from 25 years ago that I still use to this day. I looked at the Klipsch computer speakers, but browsing the site, I saw the sixes. Though I fell in love with how they looked, I wasn't sure a bookshelf speaker would have that same sound, I thought it would be too loud and over powering. The walnut finish was perfect for my office and walnut desk and I had the real estate . These speakers have completely changed my listening experience. I thought I would be overpowered by the size and proximity, but I LOVE to listen to these. Spotify is the first thing I turn on in the morning. I connect via BT and the reconnection is seamless. I can't say enough good things about these. I've had them for about 6 months now and am very happy with my purchase.

Horn tweeters that don't make your ears bleed!

I have these in a TV alcove and got rid of my center channel because I preferred the slightly forward mids and smooth highs that these put out. No harshness at all playing FLAC audio files. Really enjoy turning them up and listening to the wide sound imaging with only 6ft between the speakers. Could be the way the sound is bouncing off the side walls, but I love how it sounds!
Pros: Bluetooth connectivity is simple, Good bass response Not perfectly tight, but full

CLEARLY BIG SOUND

upgraded from the r 15pm's to these. i would still give the r 15pm's 5 stars but the sixes are a whole different level. as long as you know going into this that these speakers are bigger than the R-15pm set, you cant go wrong. you're basically getting a perfectly driven pair of RP-500m's with no need for an AMP.

I got this speaker set for my workshop office about 6 months ago. As soon as I connected my phone to The Sixes and fired up Spotify, OMG, I loved thim instantly. I still remember my first impression that they were so clean, so full and rich sounding. With Bluetooth! They provide surprisingly low beats, tight and punchy. I am not using a sub but I did use one for a couple days (Klipsch R-112SW, amazing, powerful sub) and that definitely adds another dimension to the system but it is not really missed since I'm listening to music at work, not watching movies, where you might want thunderous booms. Build quality is excellent and beautiful, like a mini set of modern Heresys. Definitely worth the price in terms of the complete package. I tested all the inputs and found Bluetooth (Aptx high quality) to be of the best sounding sources, believe it or not, so don't pay attention to the snobs that think BT is not good enough. My experience with a Google Chromecast Audio connected to the Sixes with optical cable resulted in an annoying high pitch noise eminating from the tweeters once playback was initiated. I did not experience the same using an Apple Airport Express w/ optical cable, which means the Chromecast Audio is actually a poor quality audio device. Trust me, if you get this set you will LOVE them and wonder why you waited so long or why you didn't know about them before!

I generally use these for every day listening and at home mixing on pioneer decks. I love being able to use them for everything- I can connect my laptop or phone to listen to music, podcasts or I can switch to phono and mix tunes with incredible sound. I'm a big fan of the sixes and would highly recommend. They are easily portable, so i have been able to set them up in other locations easily to record live sets etc.

The Sixes are the complete package. The attention to detail is amazing; the back panel not only shows The Sixes branding, but also a skyline of Indianapolis where Klipsch is based. I also like the option to remove the speaker covers, though I prefer them on. The tactile knobs and power switch are a very nice touch. Setup was pretty simple although I did have an initial problem connecting to Bluetooth. To solve I had to unplug my Sixes and do a factory reset, then plug them back in and do another factory reset. After that Bluetooth worked great. After a few weeks of breaking The Sixes in I can say these are the best pair of speakers I've ever owned. The audio quality over Bluetooth and optical is fantastic. I'm talking just listing to tracks on Spotify (320 kbps) from my phone and computer; hardly lossless quality (1411 kbps). It's Klipsch signature audio that can confidently fill the whole room. I find myself listening for hours on these while playing with the puppy. The Sixes are such a signature product I wonder if Klipsch will re-release these down the road. If they do it would be sweet to have some more wood finishes, like zebra. I've been a fan of Klipsch ever since I listened to my dad's Fortes and the Sixes further prove why Klipsch is known as the keepers of the sound.

Amazing speakers that scream quality

Had these sent to me, arrived in decent condition and the box itself from Klipsch has plenty of padding material. Once I started unboxing them, I was shocked to see how heavy each individual speaker is. Out of the box, the wood finish really looks beautiful, no corners were cut whatsoever. The sound is unlike anything I have experienced. Clear mids and highs with some thundering bass. A subwoofer may be added to my setup later. I started just a Bluetooth connection out of the box, zero issues and is easy to setup. If I told you I was using a Bluetooth connection, you would not believe it. The removeable covers for each speaker stay off! I want to see the beautiful wood and those gorgeous speakers. The knobs and switch that control the system are so quality and sturdy and really finish the set off nicely. Klipsch is a world-class brand that makes amazing products and I will always buy their products. As a side note, I use these in my bedroom and they required a few hours of breakin.
