As other reviewers has stated the picture quality out of the box is outstanding. The IPS screen sold me on this as you can view the tv from different angles without losing the pq. The remote does take some getting use to and as stated in other reviews you do have to wait for the tv to boot up to access apps or menus. Found the best way to change the channel is to use the remote speaker function (channel x, youtube). My experience with netflix does have issues where it needs to be reloaded or power off the tv to fix the issue.TV is used in the bedroom and connected wireless to my router. Will try to hardwire to my router to see if it resolves my netflix issue.

Awesome TV. Remote is very cool. Has most of the features anyone could want. Missing Flixter for one though. All in all, a great choice for anyone looking for anew all in one TV.

First time with a smart tv and couldn't of been happier. This tv has all the toys with the quality. The smart remote gets a little getting used to but very easy to use.

Great TV, work in progress software

Image quality is really good, sound quality is not that great but that's a common issue in slim tvs nowadays. Software is beautiful but is lacking apps, I guess once these WebOs tvs get out in more in the open we'll see more developer support. Hurry up and buy this before the netflix promotion ends, this deal is just the cherry on the pie.

Excellent bang for the buck

We have had this TV for about 6 weeks now and are continuing to find new features. We upgraded from a plain old flat screen to the smart TV and let me tell you, it has been great. We cut the cord on cable last year and have been using Roku and an OTA antenna to watch. This TV saves a step for Netflix, Hulu+, Amazon, and YouTube as no longer have to to Roku for most apps - but we still use the Roku for those apps not yet on the LG Store (Acorn TV, for example). Picture is great, size is just right for our living room, and sound (while not as good as external speakers) is far better than sound from our old TV. The remote and UI are great for getting around. The web browser, while clunky, is adequate for reading news on BBC/USATODAY/AP and some minor searches - beats bringing the laptop down from upstairs.
Only complaints are that in the web browser keep getting message need Flash Player and I do wish the UI was a little faster. But hey, small stuff so I am not sweating.

I have always considered LG to be in a class by itself. I am more than impressed with the picture quality, it has given new viewing pleasures. Able to seen the details you would never see on most others in similar class. Vivid colors and definitions. I would highly recommend LG Products, for I am hooked. :)

I bought this TV about 3 months ago and have enjoyed it ever since. The picture quality is fantastic, it has wonderful features, and the remote is easy to use. The only improvement it needs is better sound. I recommend connecting it to external speakers. I definitely recommend this product.

The picture quality is excellent and the access to the internet is great. The manual does not begin to give enough explanation of the features of this TV, particularly as far as the operation of the "MAGIC" remote. I've accidentally found it does numerous things on my DiercTV and on other apps such as Hulu, Netflix, etc. My biggest complaint is with the audio. For a "SMART TV" it is dumb when it comes to audio distribution. It only allows TV speaker audio or one other audio device. My wife has a hearing aid streamer so if I send audio to it I can't hear the TV cause the TV speakers have to be turned off to send audio anywhere. I had to buy a soundbar and a digital optical splitter in order to send audio to a speaker I could hear and to my wife's streamer so she could hear. Very dumb audio features for a SMART TV. Finally, there just isn't enough explanation of what the MAGIC remote can do.
