Not the best

this is definitely not my favorite dryer, but it has done an ok job. luckily you can set it for how you want it to dry. the custom settings don't work at all and the eco mode never gets the clothes dried. i almost always have to dry the clothes over an hour and a half to get them dried on medium and my towels and blankets on high on minimum 2 hours. we will definitely look for something else when these go. we really liked the size and i thought we would like the steam feature but all it does is leave a big wet spot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

after ownning a samsung fridge, washer and dryer i can say with absolute certainty, they should not be making home appliances. the dryer is not even 5 years okd and we have had to have it fixed arou d 5 times already. it doesnt dry well (we have had our vents cleaned) and has stopped drying which is why we have had it fixed multiple times. do not buy any samsung dryer.

Pretty looking appliance but not dependable

We had purchase this dryer, along with all of the other major appliances (all Samsung) when we built our house 4 years ago. ALL appliances "look" pretty but are not dependable. We have already had issues with most of these appliances. The dryer seems to take FOREVER to dry any laundry loads. Often times, it'll complete a cycle of an average-sized load yet many of the clothes will still be damp. I regret not sticking with the reputable brands (Whirpool, Maytag, Kenmore, etc). I went for the sparkling appliances and have since regretted it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Zero Stars. I purchased this dryer, along with the matching washer, and a Samsung refrigerator and range/oven about 5 years ago. What a huge mistake. We started having issues with the washer and dryer at around 2 years. The buttons on both the washer and dryer intermittently stop working. You'll push them and nothing happens. Based on other feedback, I am very careful not to overload the machine, and yet, everything still comes out smelling dirty. There is rust all around the detergent drawer of the washer and the dryer lint trap gets loaded and is impossible to clean properly. The oven/range is now starting to go, it kicks in and out of convection constantly, clicking on and off every few seconds. Just waiting for the refrigerator to become a problem, as well. Lesson learned. I will never buy another Samsung appliance.

I bought this in 2021 and it has been excellent. Never had any problems. Does an excellent job cleaning clothes. It’s very quiet.

Purchase this dryer and it has never performed well. I will not waste my money on Samsung products anymore. This not the first Samsung product that is a disappointment.
