[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] product was bought back in october of 2018. like every other consumer we did our research looked at other dryers and compared. we bought this product based on reviews and consumer reports. we got 21 months out of this dryer and now it is a heaping pile of scrap metal. i would not recommend this product to anyone.

I previously had a whirlpool and decided to upgrade. I hate this dryer! It never dries. What took and hour in my other dryer takes 6 with towels and then they are still wet. Please do not buy this one!

Haven't had my dryer for 2 years and my dryer is cracked. Washer drum was replaced last year too. Not worth the money.

CRACKED DRUM DO NOT BUY

we bought the matching set in 2018. since then the dryer has not been great in any sense. takes a while to dry, sense feature will always stop the dryer with the clothes still wet regardless of setting, and now our drum cracked! i don't know how you make a dryer that only lasts 3 years... very underwhelming performance. the quality will make me over look samsung appliances in the future.

Heating & power keeps running

i expect this famous brand name samsung dryer last as least 5 years or 10 years as for old style dryers.
i suddenly face my 3-year-old dryer:
(1) keeps running even i press power off button. the only way to stop it is to unplug the power cord or open the dryer door.
(2) also no heating air coming out.
i am loyal to samsung products, and currently own samsung tv, ref, oven, microwave, & washer. ref gives me ice making issue, now dryer turns.

It started having problems right after the warranty period ended. First it wouldn't stop tumbling after a cycle was done, and now it won't heat duri g a cycle. Shame on you Samsung for making such poor quality products and charging a premium price.

It's usual for your dryer to continue to operate even after a cycle has ended and the drum light has been turned off. If the panel doesn't turn off when you click the Power button or the drum won't stop spinning, that is not normal. Please check the links below for tips.
