Dinner plates tight fit

I submitted an earlier review indicating that there was not enough head room for dinner plates -- well -- I was reading the owner's manual regarding cleaning the filter, and I noticed that the upper shelf is height adjustable! Wait -- what? Problem solved already at the drawing board! This little DW is amazing, we can fill it with 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, 8 soup bowls, and much glassware. My only complaint is the silverware basket is not well thought out: the center of the basket is elevated for some reason -- makes no sense. The grid lid, is removable (thank goodness) because none of my silverware handles fit through the grid.
It is SO quiet, and does a fantastic job compared to the GE 18" unit we replaced.
I give it 4-stars, not 5, for the silverware basket, and for Haier NOT putting a nice big tag in the upper rack bragging on their two-level adjustable upper rack design!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well but our plates don’t fit. We’ve had an 18” dishwasher in the past that could accommodate our plates but this one does not. They hit the fan blade inside the washer. Would be a higher rating if this could be fixed somehow. Would be nice to fit all of our everyday dishes into the washer.

Needed a smaller dishwasher and this was a good choice. Nice stainless huh and washes dishes well. Installed it myself no problem.

Great super great appliance

We have had our dishwasher now for 2 months. It is wonderful compared to the previous one. Much improved organizer inside provides for washing many more dishes. It is super quiet and we can't tell it is running. Absolutely no complaints.

I bought this model because of the low decibel rating and excellent price. I have purchased Haier products in the past. They withstand the test of time. Excellent products!
