Fantastic Upgrade!

We upgraded to the JB625 in black replacing a still running OLDER GE model coil range in Bisque...This model is SOLID! Meaning well made and just feels Solid! Couldn't be happier!

Cooks great one flaw

Cooks everything great my only issue is the cooktop scratches way too easy! We’re constantly having to buff the top. If your cooking on it don’t move pans around and you’ll be good.

We're delighted to hear the range is cooking well. We're sorry to hear the cooktop scratches so easily. We definitely understand how annoying that can be. We'd like to provide some tips that may be helpful.
Glass cooktops are made of a durable, scratch-resistant glass ceramic material. They are not scratch proof, so it is important to use the proper cookware and follow proper cleaning procedures.
Cleaning
Scratches are not removable, especially deep scratches. Small scratches will become less visible after cleaning, and some marks that only look like scratches can be removed altogether by cleaning.
Make sure the cooktop surface is clean. Coarse particles (salt, sand, etc.) trapped between pans and the surface of the cooktop can cause scratches.
Cookware
Do not use cookware with rough bottoms, like cast iron.
The bottoms of the pans should be a "smooth" flat surface.
Do not slide cookware across the cooktop surface.

It is functional

The burners seem to not heat equally comparing one to the other. However it is functional and does the work. The knobs and some of the trim feel flimsy and brittle plastic. But it looks well and gets the job done. No overt complaints thus far
