I needed to replace my old GE range since the oven stopped working after many years of good service. This one is very similar to that one; I did not or need fancy features. It does have self-cleaning and sabbath mode, neither of which do I anticipate using--but it was the best option without even more unwanted features, it was on sale, and has a lovely flat cooktop. Cooking & baking are easy and straight forward, without having to learn fancy stuff I don't need or want. I presume it will be as reliable and well-built as my previous GE in this product line. Make this a 4.6 star review ;-)
