GE Electric Range

This review might be a little early, and possibly unfair, as I am just getting used to having a cook top. Burners are not as hot as my old stove, probably safety features. Thank you to the ever-present government. They are also backward from my old stove with the largest burner in the front instead of the back. Little awkward for a lefty, just a learning curve there. My real complaint is the oven does not always get to temperature, according to my reliable oven thermometer. Set it to pre-heat but most of the time have to open and close the door to get it to the right temperature, even after quite a long time. Set at 350 and it usually is 325, that is annoying. It is pretty, but beware, you have to keep the top clean, it does not hide any spills. It was a Christmas gift from family members, a far cry from my budget range of 14 years ago. All in all think it will be fine, just not 5 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have 2 features that I don’t like: the oven takes longer than most to preheat and the back burner is too close to the controls. You can’t really put a large pot or pan on the back burner. It won’t fit because of the controls.

Great features. User friendly

I have always used a gas range, so I had to adjust to cooking on an electric range. For instance, when you turn the heat off, it keeps cooking for a good minute vs gas range that pretty much stops once turned off. I like my range and especially, not having to clean up the grills on the gas range and having to lift the cover to clean up food droppings on the burners and bottom. Clean up after use daily (applies to oven use also), when safe to do so, as instructed, and your range will keep looking, as good as new..
