Too many design mistakes

Burners don't maintain steady temperature. The "hot surface" light doesn't indicate which burner is hot. You have to put your hand on it to find out! The buzzer indicating the self-cleaning cycle is completed doesn't shut off automatically. The oven is fine but the range isn't. And I do a lot more stove-top cooking than oven cooking. This is my fourth GE and I expect it's my last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE 30" Glass Top Stove

The stove works great. The eye's heat up quick and evenly. Easily cleaned. Oven heats and cooks great.

Substandard and inferior performing appliance

Used the appliance periodically, mostly during the weekend for one year. The stove top had some sort of power surge and lost power completely. It doesn't power up now. It's totally in-operational.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product!

We had our old GE oven for over 20 years and finally decided to upgrade. So glad we chose to stay with the GE brand. This updated model is sleek, works well and very sturdy. We saw other brands in person at big box stores and weren't very impressed in the quality. So far I am loving our upgrade! Same great product that we are used to.
