Too many shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no space for big things. This refrigerator does not seem to hold very much food. It seems smaller inside then the refrigerator I had at my last apartment, which was a mid sized refrigerator. I would not buy it. I also think freezer is small. The fridge loses space due to ice machine in fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken ice maker

The ice maker in the fridge does not work and has been “fixed” 14 times by our local retailer and they have gotten kit after kit from Electrolux to fix it. We are two year in and I’ve had ice out of my fridge one time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator came standard with our new home. I like the size, the only complaint I have would be how high up you can adjust the shelves. We store large drinks and it doesn’t go quite high enough to store without it lifting up the shelf. Other than that I am very pleased.

Loud and Freezes

I bought this refrigerator to replace an older Electrolux model that I liked. Big mistake. They have apparently cheapened their design. This refrigerator runs constantly and has a high pitch hum to the compressor. I can hear it running from across the house. It also freezes items on the middle shelf just below the ice maker. I complained to the store where I purchased so they gave me a new one. To no avail, the new one is doing the same thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Typically, the compressor operates at a higher pressure when first starting and the noise should disappear as the refrigerator continues to run and balance pressures. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models.
The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound; which is normal. Also, ensuring that there are no food items in contact with the vents inside your refrigerator or freezer can prevent any freezing concerns. If the vents are blocked it will disrupt air flow and cause food to freeze.

Fabulous appliance

This Refrigerator was included in the new house we bought and it is not only attractive, but spacious, has a large freezer drawer with 2 shelves, and great touch panel ice/water dispenser.
