LOVE THE SWING DOOR

Swing door model bought because of anticipated wheelchair user but they haven't moved in yet. Even so, I love the swing door myself, and the full extension rack. Controls are nicely intuitive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy to have purchased the left swinging oven door for our new kitchen. We combined it with the Combination Speed Oven and it is working out extremely functional for our everyday use. The full size oven cooks great and the convection baking makes my cookies that much better looking! It bakes even every batch I make. The convection roast feature is also a great asset. The swinging door and panel are very attractive and compliment our kitchen by adding sleek contemporary design. I prefer this panel light up colour (cool white LED) to the yellow white old look of the clock on the combo speed oven/microwave we install above this full size wall oven.

All the bells and whistles for the home chef

SO FAR WE REALLY LOVE THE OVEN

WE LOVE THE FEATURES, HOWEVER THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE ROUTING OF THE ELECTRICAL WIRING LEFT OUT A LOT. IN ORDER FOR THE OVEN TO BE INSTALLED APPROPRIATELY, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTED THAT THE WIRING CABLE NEEDS TO BE PLACED ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT OF THE RANGE OTHERWISE THE UNIT WILL NOT GO COMPLETELY IN TO THE WALL CABINET. IT WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THE INSTALLER FROM HAVING TO DRILL THE CABINET TWICE AND FISH THE WIRE INTO A NEW LOCATION. ALSO NOTING WHERE THE MOUNTING/SECURING SCREWS SHOULD BE ATTACHED WAS NOT VERY CLEARLY DEFINED.

Amazing unconventional oven

WARNING: Great design but faulty electronics

However, the touch panel is faulty - stopped working after just over a year. Others have had the same issue. Would be very careful about buying Bosch because of their apparent poor quality control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The side-swing door on this oven was perfect for our new kitchen as the wall oven/speed oven is in a corner.
This oven and its circulating fans is much quieter than the Jenn Aire we replaced. The control options offer a wide variety of settings that we have yet to fully explore. The built-in sensor probe is a great idea.
It preheats quickly and we're finding that food is more thoroughly and evenly cook. Just love it.

Hasn't worked yet

I have had the oven for less than two months and it has now broken for a fouth time. It came with a non-working fan. Then the glass in the door had to be replaced. The clock has stopped keeping the correct time and now the oven shuts off within five seconds of being turned on. What is troubling is that I also have the left opening door oven and it so far has two of the same problems.
