I buy this speakers 10 days ago and i am proud becose the sound is fantastiiiiic .very good horn and the sub so strong so american!! Now i hop so to stay perfect for a long long time . thanks klipsch! :)

I bought these to replace my Energy C2s for my office/bedroom system. I like the Energy’s and would have kept them forever but a woofer went bad. Well, these Rp160s blow them away in bass and punch! I already have the KLF20s in my living room as my lifetime speakers and RF3/RC3s downstairs for home theater. I fully intended on trying another brand this time. I mean I LOVE my KLFs but just for the sake of variety being an audio enthusiast. When I saw the professional reviews on these and then saw the price I just couldn’t resist.
I must say these speakers feel and look very nice. Much more expensive looking than what they cost. The sound is much less bright and warmer than my old RF 3s. The bass is very well defined and has more heft than I expected. I won’t be running a sub with these. What a fun and lively listen! I spent hours listening my favorite tracks the first night. Drums ha be slam and guitars have CRUNCH like they are supposed to. Perfect for rock and metal. Actually every genre works well on these. Bad recordings are exposed so some eq is required from time time but get a decently recorded track on these and they really come to life.

Top speakers for a reasonable price

I bought this item two years ago and I was astonished about the sound. Crispy clear sound with good highs, mids and bass.
In the beginning the tweeter was a little overwhelming but after a few days playing the sound regulated and I enjoy the sound since then. Top speakers for a reasonable price!

Amazing for such a small package

I replaced 2 Klipsch RF-35's that were at least 10 years old. I moved and the floor standing RF's really didn't fit in. For me yes, my girl friend, not so much. I put these guys on my Denon AVR-X4300H, ran the Audessey calibration and much to my surprise, they sounded every bit as good, maybe better?, than the RF's. They were smoother, more liquid and the low end just amazes me even after several months of scrutiny. I'm a fan...

My primary use for the RP-160M speakers is music and theater. I'm very impressed with the clarity of sound and output performance for such a small speaker! My only disappointment was base output. However, after 3 months of break-in, they opened up a substantial amount and make very good base. I'd go as far to say that a sub isn't needed for an excellent music listening experience. I do have a "12 sub, but only turn it on for watching movies. When my lady came over for a demo, she sat right next to me on the couch. Within 15 minutes she dropped her panties at the sound of Al Green - Let's Stay Together. Need I say more....

Great speakers for their size

Bought these to replace Klipsch RF 3's floorstanding speakers. Wanted to keep that deep rich sound and they have done that exceptionally well. Very pleased with playing music and watching movies. Still paired with my Mirage sub and the sound is awesome.
