The Google Pixel is not a cheap phone and I wanted to make sure that mine was protected. The phone's metal backing and plastic pieces can easily be damaged by dropping. I am not one to drop my phone a lot, but I wanted to know that even if I dropped it on accident that it would not be damaged. The OtterBox covers the Pixel well and the gray-blue case looks great! I would definitely recommend this case.

Like pretty much everything about this case. Good coverage and protection without compromising use of the phone. My only complaint is that the aqua color looks pretty dirty after only a few weeks of light use. Oh and shipping was SUPER slow (yes I know that's not related to the case).

I love my Defender! I used to have one for my HTC M8 and it worked wonders. I dropped that thing all the time and never had any problems. Now that I have the Google Pixel, I still rely on the Defender. The screen cover doesn't affect the touch sensitivity that I notice. The flaps that cover the headphone and charging jack are easy to remove, but solid enough so they don't fall apart. I feel confident that when I drop it, my Defender will save my phone!
Oh and the mint green/blue color is adorable.

I ordered the Borealis cover last week and within a few days it is already stained -- I keep it in my coat pocket and purse and the edges of the case are darker now. It looks dirty now and unpresentable.
The cover itself is great. I recommend ordering the black case to avoid this.

I have had this case for 1 month. I have already dropped it a few times. No damage to the phone at all. The case still looks brand new. This case if for the google pixel. Everything lines up correctly. The buttons work great. No interference with the camera. No problems with the fingerprint unlock.

This is my second Otterbox, well worth using.
When I upgraded my phone I switched to a Google Pixel. Great phone, but it felt far too slippery in my hands and I didn't want to run the risk of dropping it because ...well... life.
Grippy where it needs to be, solid in construction, I trust the phone will not drop. And, if it does, I can trust the phone will remain intact.
And because life happens, sure enough the phone dropped on the driveway as I was getting into the car. No dings, no breaks, no screen damage.
Maybe the only feature I might add would be the tempered glass screen protector to be used in concert with the Otterbox. But, I don't know...
