I have been an Otter Box user for years but since this is a newly designed phone I was concerned how well it would work. Well the tech crew did their research and development. This case works seamlessly. Screen protector is very nice and doesn’t hinder touch ability at all. I was also concerned if the case would affect the newly designed speakers on this phone but I think it actually helps. The thickness of the case raises the speakers off a flat surface just enough to amplify the sound. No faults that I can find. Nice case.

It's bulky as expected but the drop protection has been helpful. Not a fan of the screen as it scratches very easily and there can be a delay in the response of the phone. I find it slightly annoying to get the charger to fit (vs no case).

I purchased one for my Samsung galaxy 4 about 5 years ago. When I received my new pixel, I removed the galaxy from the case and it looked brand new. The new case fits just like the old one so I can assume my phone should be OK. My phones get abused all day long and your case has saved me a lot of money. CONS:
-Removing the place layer is somewhat difficult with your bare hands. I would recommend using a small flat-head screwdriver to save your fingernails the pain.
-If you put on a glass screen protector the protector from the case retains a bend and requires you to push just a smidge harder to reach input on your phone.

I previously had an Otterbox for my Droid Mini. It worked well and kept my phone alive through 3 years of drops and spills. I got a new one for my Google Pixel and it seems the same quality as the original. I can tell they changed the formula somehow and the case itself seems slightly lighter the the previous one.

I love the ruggedness and security of this case. It's big enough to make the phone easier to hold securely while still being able to fit in my pocket.
The one flaw I see so far is the notches for the belt clip are not symmetrical, so the phone can only go in one way, and for me, wearing the clip on my left side, it feels backwards.
