I have gone through several blenders over the years and finally decided to spend a little bit more money and buy the Vitamix. I am so glad I did!!!! I have used it almost every day since it arrived for smoothies in the morning & frozen drinks on the weekends. It easily blends frozen fruits and ice. The consistency of the drinks is excellent! The recipe book that came with the A2300 is really nice but I haven't had a chance to make any of the recipes in it yet. I think the Vitamix Assent Series are designed beautifully and worth every penny.

I've been into smoothies to help me with diabetes. I had the Ninja but it didn't break down products such as chia seeds, flaxseeds, etc . My Vitamin blends to perfection

I bought this after contemplating buying a food processor. I decided it was better for me to get rid of my blender and get the Vitamix instead buying an additional piece of equipment. I love it. It works for all my kitchen needs. It is super high powered. Sounds like an airplane engine is inside the base, so it is not super quiet but I don't mind that. I've made soups, smoothies, drinks and batter in it so far. I'm very pleased with my purchase and it didn't take long to ship to me after I ordered.
