Didn't realize the jug was so big! Even making smoothies for 2 doesn't really work. Ingredients just get flung all over the giant jug and I have to keep scraping it. I have to water everything down to blend. Maybe will be better when they come out with a smaller jug.

We had the Ninja for years and splurged on this Vitamix for Mother's Day. I didn't have a particular model in mind and went with this one simply because it had high reviews online. It is amazing! I cannot believe that it can even make hot soup!! Mostly we use it for our daily breakfast smoothie and it makes the texture so creamy-dreamy. Only con (which is unavoidable I think) is that it is SUPER NOISY. Like terrified me and made the dog and baby cry the first time I turned it up to full speed. I was afraid it would break! But no...that's just how it works. It is a super intense machine and takes its job seriously. You will adjust to the noise. Two thumbs up!
