I borrowed an ancient model of vitamin last winter to try it before buy it. I was very happy with it. I bought the A2300, a newer model, thinking it was to be better... but I sincerely regret it. The container it much larger... meaning the low profile black tamper, included, is too short to go in the corner of the container... not a problem with soup... but not efficient for thicker products (sorbet, thick batter...) ... For the price, I dont recommend it!

Love it,love it. I have had many blenders over the years but this Vitramix is the best EVER. I use it almost everyday, it does everything. Need to watch when my daughter goes to her house that my Vitamix is still on the counter!

This is my 3rd Vitamix! I have one in both my home and just bought a new one, because I wanted the larger stronger version. I thought my smaller Vitamix was great, but this larger one, with larger blades is a beast!!! I use is for making smoothies. I use lots of frozen fruit and the frozen strawberries that give it a run for the money. It never lets me down! Even the smaller version I have is amazing. I've owned a Vitamix for 15 years and would never bu another brand.
