Love, Love, Love, Love it. This is absolutely one of my most beloved products sitting on my kitchen counter top. I use the vitamix for making all kinds of things. Here's a list of things which I've made using my vitamix:

We've owned (and loved) 4 Ninja Blenders but their lifespan isn't as long as the Vitamix so we decided to make the switch. We like the former so much better and are disappointed with our purchase. A burning smell that is indicated in the manual upon initial use lasted far longer than suggested. The ribs on the inside of the canister make it difficult to scrape down. The soft rubber platform that the canister sits on sheds when wiping with a damp rag and when you continue on to wipe the sides these specs stick to the plastic and smear which are then impossible to get off. The rubber also sticks to the bottom of the canister and when it's placed on our light countertop it leaves black marks that don't come off easily. The lid isn't that easy to pry off. The Ninja has all of these complaints beat in every way. The one upside is that the motor is definitely superior to the Ninja.

If you are still getting a burning smell it is because its thermal protector sensed that the machine was about to overheat. If this occurs, we recommend turning the power switch off for up to 45 minutes, allowing the machine to cool down or reset. To avoid overheating your machine in the future, be sure to ramp the machine up to the highest speed within five seconds of turning it on to activate the cooling fan in the motor.

Super smoothie smoothies

I have searched for so long for a blender with this much power and capability! I love the attachment feature, I have also purchased the self detect blender cups and the food processor attachment! Amazing, don’t hesitate!!! So worth it!
