I wanted a Vitamix for sometime now and finally got one! I've watched tons of demo videos but when you actually use one yourself you realise every demo and statement made about this wonderful/amazing machine is all true. Expensive yes, but so worth it especially with the 10 year warranty. On the fence? Don't be, you want be dissapointed!
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Power
The machine is strong which causes it to be VERY loud. It sounds like a motorcycle "racing" through my kitchen. The strength of the machine causes a lot of the ingredients to blast to the lid of the pitcher and never get mixed in (even on the lowest setting). The blade is at the bottom of the pitcher which causes a lot of ingredients to get stuck under the blade (and not mixed in OR chopped). It doesnt "chop" the spinach in my smoothies very well (making my smoothies have large chunks of spinach in them). I have tried making nut meal/butter and smoothies in this blender. It doesnt seem to be doing what I need. The machine is really well made (from what I can tell).
I've had this blender for about a month now and it's the best looking appliance in my kitchen. Gets used on a regular basis due to ease of operation and clean up. Perfectly blends soups, smoothies and much more. I've only begun to see all its abilities. Love the digital timer on the front gives the Accent Series that modern touch. Container is huge compared to most blender so you can pack it full! Will be enjoying this one for many years to come.
Bought a vitamix to replace our 10 year old blender that stopped working. This thing is amazing. We make smoothies for breakfast at least three times a week and salad dressing is so easy! But the magical part is when we make soup. Six minutes of blending and you have HOT - yeah that’s right, I said HOT - soup ready to serve! I keep looking all over the mixer to see if it has a heating mechanism but nothing. My only explanation is: science.
It took me a long time to commit to buying a Vitamix because of the price. It’s a powerful machine that’s for sure however it’s extremely loud which is a bit disappointing because it wakes people up when I use it in the mornings. I have had a couple of E31 errors which is because my mixture is too thick yet I follow the measurements that Vitamix suggests for smoothies. It is a good machin and when it does blend without an error it’s amazing how it breaks down kale and spinach, there’s no more chewing. Overall a good but noisy machine.

To avoid the error codes, please remember to always start your machine at 1 and within 5 seconds, ramp it up to 10 and use your tamper through the hole in your lid to break up any air pockets that may form. We also recommend placing a computer mouse pad under your motor base to help absorb some of the noise.
Great product; the notoriety of the brand speaks for itself.
If you are deciding between the 2300 vs 2500 Ascent Series smart system blenders go with the 2500 model. I have a 2300 and it is quite an inconvenience to use the Vitamix app to take advantage of the programable settings feature.
I bought my Vitamix a couple of moths ago and I use it literally everyday. I make my son a breakfast smoothie full of grains and greens. he has no idea. He’s happy. I’m happy. Thanks Vitamix
