Our Vitamix is the best kitchen appliance we have ever purchased. We use it every day, and it is key in elevating our family's health and wellness!!!! Vegetarian and Vegan options are endless, and incorporating veggies into food for picky eaters is a BREEZE. We literally just throw it in and push a button. As if it couldn't get any better, it cleans itself!

While it may do the job, it is noisy! Much louder than a reconditioned unit I recently also purchased from Vitamix. Plus, the controls are finicky, in the sense that I have to turn the dial and press the button to engage the motor repeatedly to get it going. I also bought the small little containers to blend up things like salad dressings or baby food. These units too are finicky. I have to make the base of the container almost so tight that I cannot undo it in order to get the machine to make it work. Not being able to put hot or even warm food in for blending in these small containers is also a draw back. Overall, I absolutely love Vitamix products. I was just modestly disappointed with the performance of this unit and the small attachment that I bought. Even so, I will adapt as this machine is way better than your average cheap blender!

This is a very good blender but not for the high price. The smoothies are not being broken down enough which still leaves chunks. I was able to make my special seasoning which I do prefer to have some small chunks.

Vitamix is such a great product that I hate rating it like this. I mean, it is great but you have to cut apples up or they just roll around. Also disappointed by the number of frozen fruit chunks it misses. Have to pulse over and over to get them. I’d go with a different model. By bestie has one and this isn’t an issue wish I’d asked him what model his was.

This blender is amazing! We use it almost daily for morning protein shakes. When we were out of powdered sugar for a recipe, we put cane sugar in and made our own! (didn't even know that was possible). We've made dozens of soups as well. Very easy to clean with just adding soapy water in and running it for like 30 seconds. My ONLY problem with it is the markers on the pitcher are hard to read in certain lighting. Looking forward to using this for the next decade and longer, it is built like a beast!
