i was a bit hesitant to buy this because of the price but i did eventually buy this blender over a month ago and i am pleased. it blends my rolled oats to flour, crushes my vegetable to a smooth blend and much more. i needed an all rounder blender and i found it in vitamix. it is worth the money spent!

I’m uniquely punishing on my home blenders. Finally pulled the trigger and splurged for the Vitamix. I immediately made a batch of frozen banana ice cream which is quite thick. There were air pockets and spinning blades, but no vortex developed like my Kitchenaid. So I used the tamper which helped a little. After a couple minutes the blender shut down and read E1 on the display. Apparently the motor overheated and went into a disable mode so it can cool down. It was unusable for 20 minutes.
I called Vitamix and said take it away. To their credit, they stuck by their policy and paid return shipping and thanked me for trying their product.
Can’t help but wonder if the large diameter at the base of the pitcher on the “low profile” models hinders the ability to mix very thick concoctions. If I tried another Vitamix it would be a traditional pitcher that’s narrower at the bottom.
Great for most people, just not for me...

I have been using the blender regularly for the past couple of months and am happy with it overall. It does all it says it will do and is truly a high speed blender. The only thing I am still facing a bit of an issue with is that the base doesn't recognize the small container easily. I have to take it out and adjust it every time to get the base to work. It doesn't happen with the standard 2 litre jug.

The machine is very easy to use and clean. However, it gets stuck a lot with ice and frozen strawberries and other fruit. Based on the website details, I thought it could pulverize anything. Maybe I'm just using it to much during the pandemic to make healthy smoothies and the blades are getting dull.

Best blender I have ever owned, with a 10 year warranty and assembly in the United States — what more could you ask for? The only drawback is the app is unreliable, which is quite concerning as it is used to access special programs for this blender.
